The initial step begins with establishing a relationship with your therapist. During the first few sessions, he or she will begin to understand your needs, while fostering an environment of safety and trust. Finding the right fit is a key task in early phase of the treatment. Afterwards, you will then set goals, discuss strategies and identify resources. The pace of your individual therapy sessions and goals are based on your own preferences.
