This was a study that I was involved with as a Psychiatrists back in 2012. It reflects benefits of use of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) in addition to use of antidepressant medication (Fluoxetine). It emphasizes the need to use therapy to improve treatment rates as well as prevention of relapse. Childhood depression is usually a recurrent illness manifests itself with irritability, change in sleep and appetite and drop in school function. It typically has recurrent nature and starts in  pre teenage years of life.
